Wow, I'm really glad to have found a site to replace the mess that tribe has become. It's really sad to see such a great site and wonderful resource go down the tubes because of shitty management. This site looks like it'll be different, and I'm happy to get in on the ground level. Here's to my hope that they can deliver on their promises, and give the burner/raver/pagan/general counterculture types a new home on the net that won't turn around and stab them in the back. Am I bitter about tribe? Yeah, a little...
I've never been into the blog thing before, but something tells me that zaadz might be a good place to start. I guess this is where I record my daily events and bore my friends with self-important anecdotes. Well here goes:
My daughter, Abigail Jane was born four days ago, on what looks to be the greatest day of my life (unless I have some more kids, that is). She's absolutely amazing, and while I'd never been that into babies before, I'm totally head over heels for her. We took her to her first pediatrician's appointment today, and it went well. She'd lost some weight, almost a pound, because we'd apparently not been feeding her enough. At the hospital's direction, we'd been only giving her 1oz of formula every three hours, but the nurse told us to triple that. Hopefully now she'll gain some weight, and start growing. Other than that, she's great - Julie and I even got a full night's sleep last night - I couldn't believe it! We woke up once to feed her, other than that I got my first full night's sleep since she was born.
Bored yet?
Anyway, that's by far the biggest thing going on in my life right now, and I'd write more but I want to explore some more on this site.
